I currently work for a well known Japanese photo imaging company which I absolutely love.
Pictures from my website are in no way linked to that company.
Here’s my web work - which I did about 5 years ago.
OldRutsCricket.org.uk :: My local Cricket Club Website

I personally undertook this website through from concept through to the hand generation of the code. The aim of it was to attract players from the surrounding areas of Wimbledon and to provide information about the current performance of the teams.
Since its launch 3 years ago, we’ve had a number of players join us via the website and the discussion forum has formed into an exciting online community for the existing members of the club. The discussion forum is database driven (mySQL), the rest of it being in driven by the use of php templates and CSS style sheets. I’ve been working to migrate the site over to a CMS to make it easier to update by the various members of the club. On the original site I used the WC3 compliance standards to ensure that cross-browser compatibility is maintained.
I continue to update the site with news and announcements - this will be made much simpler with a CMS.
All Saints’ South Wimbledon Parish Church Website
This website is for the purposes of the parish of All Saints Church South Wimbledon which my parents frequent; My father is mainly responsible for the content of the website, which, to his credit is current and very detailed. My responsibility is on the technical make up of it.
Exeter’s Fine Art Website - 2003
Alongside my major 3rd year project, I developed Exeter University’s Fine Art website for my website design module. The project involved working with the head of the Fine Art department to create a website to display the University’s collection of Fine Art. A major part of the project was to convert the Slide gallery of art works and make them accessible via the web. For my contribution I achieved 85% in the module and the following statement of satisfaction from the Art curator:
“John has developed not only an outstanding website that the University will be proud of, but has developed his own personality together with developing a business understanding with his client. He is conscious, hardworking, punctual, and has a tidy appearance. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to develop another business site”
The work required the normal set of requirement gathering, design and implementation phases. This is a project I greatly enjoyed.
The site can be viewed here
